The Student Activities Platform

Students’ activities portal will enable the students to register for any students’ programme like, Seminar, Conference, Mock Tests, Workshop, Special Counselling Programme for CA Students, CA Students Talent Search, CA Students festival, Sports Competition etc. being organised by Regional Councils and Branches, at any time, from anywhere through this portal.

Significant features of the portal relevant to the students are as under:

  • All events will be hosted in advance by respective Regional Councils/Branches comprising of Event Date, Timings, Venue, Topic(s), participation Fees, Faculty details, Students eligibility, etc.
  • All events can be filtered place wise
  • Each event would have Unique Programme ID
  • Mail and SMS about the event to be sent to Students’ through portal
  • Students have to register themselves for such events online only by creating login id
  • Provision of on the spot online registration will also be there
  • Online Feedback form to be filled by the student after the event
  • Student may check their CPE Hours, in their login id, through portal

CA Students’ International Conference

The International Conference of CA students is a yearly signature event for the Institute. The International Conference provides an equal opportunity to all students pursuing Chartered Accountancy Course spread across the globe to share and learn about diverse socio-cultural environment prevailing in different parts of the world. The Student delegates from International Accounting Bodies are also welcomed to participate in the Conference. This year Board of Studies- Operations (SSEB) of ICAI organized International Conference of CA Students at Kolkata in Hybrid mode on 29th and 30th January, 2022 with the theme as “Aim, Act, Achieve". The Conference was hosted by EIRC of ICAI & EICASA of ICAI. The conference attracted around 6500 participants from across the globe, being first time in the history of ICAI.

Under the chairmanship of CA. Sushil Kumar Goyal of Board of Studies- Operations, SSEB and CA. Pramod Boob, Vice Chairman, the conference witnessed esteemed Presence of Chief Guest Mr. Vivek Gupta, MLA & Editor in Chief, Sanmarg Newspaper, Kolkata and Guest of Honour Mr. Maninder Singh, Former Indian Cricketer along with CA. Nihar N Jambusaria, President, ICAI and CA. (Dr.) Debashis Mitra, Vice-President, ICAI. There were 4 Growth Sessions having prolific and eminent speakers like Sister BK Shivani, Shri Gyanvatsal Swami, Ms. Jaya Kishori and Mr. Aakash Gautam. The Conference was also attended by our esteem dignitaries namely CA. CS Nanda, CA. Durgesh Kabra, CA. Prakash Sharma, CA. Aniket Talati, CA. Rajendra Kumar P, CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, CA. M.P. Vijay Kumar, CA.Pramod Jain, CA. Manu Aggarwal, CA. Anuj Goyal, CA. Jay Chhaira, CA.Kemisha Soni, CA. CV Chitale, CA. Rajesh Sharma, Central Council Members and other board members along with managing committee members from EIRC and EICASA of ICAI.

The prime objective of the Conference is to impart knowledge, improve skills set, and provide experience to the CA students attending the Conference. The Technical Sessions was coupled with inspiring Sessions with Paper Presenters across the country from Ahmedabad, Amritsar,Assam,Bhubaneshwar, Delhi, Gujrat, Jaipur, Jamshedpur,Jalandhar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Navi Mumbai, Ranchi, Shillong and Vadodara including Students from International Bodies, 11 students from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, 7 students from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh, 223 students from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and 4 students from The Institute of Chartered Accounts of Dubai, UAE.
